What this site is for

fed.pugworks.com is the federal-facing side of Pug Works. Our commercial work lives at pugworks.com; this page exists so a contracting officer, small-business specialist or prime contractor can confirm who we are and decide in about a minute whether we are worth soliciting.

Federal buying runs on verifiable facts — a UEI, a CAGE code, the NAICS code a requirement is set aside under, and a named person who answers. Those are at the top of this page rather than behind a contact form, because market research should not require a phone call.

How we support federal purchasing

We are a value-added reseller and integrator. Most of what we do is turning a requirement written in a statement of work into equipment that arrives configured, tested and ready for the government to accept.

IT hardware supply

End-user devices, servers, storage, networking and peripherals from commercial manufacturers. Sourced through authorized distribution, quoted against the solicitation's own line items, delivered FOB Destination with manufacturer warranty and Trade Agreements Act country-of-origin confirmed before we quote.

AV & VTC integration

Conference-room and briefing-space audio-visual and video-teleconferencing systems: displays, codecs, microphones, control systems, mounting and cabling. Specified, installed, tested and handed over working.

Custom software & portals

Purpose-built applications and web portals — staff and student management, data collection, reporting and workflow tools. Built, deployed and maintained by the same people who scoped them.

541511

Systems design & integration

Designing how commercially available components fit together to meet a stated requirement, and taking responsibility for the result — configuration, imaging, asset tagging and lifecycle support for end-user devices.

NAICS codes

Size status is asserted against the NAICS code on the solicitation, so the registered list is the one that governs whether we can claim small-business status on a given requirement. Both lists are shown, because they are not the same thing and it is not useful to pretend otherwise.

How to buy from us

We hold no GSA Schedule or governmentwide acquisition contract yet. That narrows how we can be reached, and it is better said plainly than discovered after an award is drafted.

  1. Open-market solicitations on SAM.gov Combined synopsis/solicitations, RFQs and sources-sought notices posted to SAM.gov under a NAICS code we are registered in. This is the most direct route.
  2. Micro-purchase and simplified acquisition Purchases under the simplified acquisition threshold, including Government Purchase Card orders. We accept the GPC.
  3. Subcontracting to a prime If the work sits on a vehicle we do not hold, we are available as a subcontractor or teaming partner to the prime who does.
  4. Sources sought and market research We respond to sources-sought and RFI notices. If you are testing whether a small business can meet a requirement, say so and we will answer honestly — including when the answer is no.

Point of contact

Quotes, questions and solicitation notices all reach the same inbox, and it is read by the people who do the work — there is no account-management layer in between.
